Peconic River Herb Farm

Plein air today. 6x8 oil sketch. Couldn't let this beautiful day go by without painting outdoors. One of the ladies we paint with found this magnificent place. There is a potential painting everywhere we look.

Well, as for this, just what I like to call these little sketches, my short hand notes. Can't wait to start working on a larger painting.

  1. Looks like a lovely place with all that dappled light. Can't wait to see the bigger piece!

  2. Another cracker Joan, especially as it is a
Plein Air job. Well done. I went out yesterday
    for an hour and did a 6x8. It`s a study of a
cluster of Silver Birches. I will post it later on today. Also I am doing a study of a Monet painting. He is my all time favourite.
    All the best Joan.
    Vic.
