  3. Hi Joan.
I like this and the tonal study. Well done my friend. I haven`t had time to complete a painting that I had started a few days ago, so I did a sketch of our sons Alsation Brucy and posted it just now. I had`to post something. All the best Joan.

  4. Hi Vic,

Thank you. I don't know where the time goes, it's a mystery. All I know it seems to pick up speed the older we get. I love your sketch. Have a great day.

  5. Wow, you've posted a lot since I've been able to visit.
The Party's Over is a terrific painting.
I like the Strawberry Study too.
Nice work on Stony Brook- I had a friend tell me that Saturday- "It's finished". (I wasn't quite sure if she was just ready to go home... but she may be right.)
You were already producing great work before this blog-venture!

This one has wonderful sutle tones... that streak of pink on the horizon is a gentle magnet.

  7. Hi Jill,
Thank you for stopping by and leaving such encouraging words. I really appreciate your opinion. Yes, the woman that told me to stop painting the Stony Brook painting, I thought the same thing, she just wants to go home, but I am happy I listed to her. All the best to you Jill.

  9. Hi Joan!.... Love the muted... restful palette of colours in this one and the small details of activity carefully added in the background!

I'll look forward to seeing the final product... it's certainly well on the way! Good stuff!

    Good Painting!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

  10. Hi Bruce,

Thank you, I truly appreciate your opinion. I'm trying to get back on course, maybe I should do a little free floating for awhile. All the best to you.
