Mascot Dock


5x7 oil on panel. Plein Air. While watching my grand son during his sailing lesson I painted this little sketch. It was a beautiful day. Happy painting everyone.

    Love the deep sense of space that you have successfully captured in this otherwise very small and limiting format.

    Colour is rich and vibrant. The muted presence of the sail boats - a nice touch too!

  15. What a lovely painting, I can just feel the day when I look at this painting. How nice to be able to sit and paint this while your grandson has a sailing lesson. What a wonderful day you must have had, and him too, hopefully the lesson went well. :)
