Meadow Croft Plein Air

On Tuesday, the PALS group met with SBAA group and we all painted at the Meadow Croft Estate.
I used my Tom Brown pochade and enjoyed doing this little 5x7 oil sketch. I did have a bee keep me company, but can't complain, I was the interloper. Happy painting everyone.

Couldn't get a good picture of the painting, I shot indoors and the the painting was still wet. The one on the pochade is more accurate.

  2. Very nice, Joan! Again, I like your soft edges. The tree trunk on the right has such an interesting trunk and you captured that without a great deal of detail. Very painterly.
