Paulson Farm

Tuesday was a great plein air day. We were at Paulson's Farm. This was a quick sketch. As you probably noticed the roof line is off, so I will continue to work on this one. Happy painting everyone. Also the fence needs some repair, after my nap.

  1. Hi Joan,
it is very nice. I would not touch a thing. The spontaneity of the brushwork add to the charm of the oil. This oil has a nice feeling to it! just great.

  5. Hi Joan!... Glad to see you back in the saddle... and painting outdoors!

I'm with Mariano on the "not touching it" part! The work has life and spontoneity already! Working it could compromise/muddy those qualities! On to another subject I'd offer!

A nice quick sketch... very painterly!

    Good Painting!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

  6. Hi Joanie,

Beautiful painting, I agree don't touch it. You may lose the freshness of it. And A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU and many, many more!

    Have a great day!!!
