I know what you mean about being out there painting instead of from a photo, but we have still been there to take a photo of the scene. Oh I love scenes like this one! The gray sky and moody feel, all complimented by the snow. Just beautiful (even if it was from a photo, which is not so bad either, cause you're warm!) :)
