Avalon Park Stonybrook

Finally the sun came out and I took advantage of the glorious day. My friends painted at Avalon Park three weeks ago. It's a great place to paint plein air. I chose this angle, however everything was so green including the water. So this was just my short hand notes for a future oil painting.

  1. Joan, love the yellow and greens and the little bit of white house poking through. this would look nice matted and framed!

  4. Hi there Joan!... I love the transparency and glow that you have achieved in this piece. It truly speaaks of that period of transition between Spring and winter!

Certainly could become a nice oil in the future... but regardless... it stands itself as a fine piece!

    Good Painting!
    Warmest regards,
