May Flowers

My Son and his family are returning home today. This is the first day I actually had time to do some painting. These are two watercolor sketches and one graphite. The tree is surrounded by beautiful azaleas not fully in bloom. Depending on the weather tomorrow , I will go out to paint this magnificent array of beautiful colors. The little tulip study is a gift from my son and his family on mothers day. Happy painting everyone.

  4. Hi Joanie,

Nice softness of the trees and azaleas. A feeling of ushering in spring. Is that the tree in front of your house??

  5. Hi Suzy,

Yes, I did this watercolor while Anthony was visiting. It's the tree in front of my house. The azaleas are in full bloom and on their way out. So short lived, and they are so beautiful

Looking forward to your next post.
