Bayard Cutting Aboretum in Oakdale

10x12 oil on mdf board. When my friends painted at this location I was unable to join them. Mike and I went there a few days later, I did a few watercolor sketches and took photos. This was done today from one of my photos. Still a little more tweaking to do, I enjoyed painting this one.

Happy painting to all.

I wish I could think of another superlative but the sky is fantastic. It is interesting and I love the variations of colors. The buildings as well are lovely and overall a very inviting scene.

Your visit and generous comment has made my day.

I absolutely love the English landscape and cottages. Thank you for getting that impression from my painting. I actually was drawn to this Manor house for that very reason.

  22. Hi Vic,

Thank you my friend for all of your support and encouragement. I will be over to visit your blog. I have been very distracted this week. I hurt my leg and have been hobbling around. Went to the doctor, nothing serious just can't overdo.
