Sunday Morning Sketch

As you can see, I have crossed over and joined some of my fellow bloggers who enjoy sketching with various pens. There are several post on my side bar of the groups or artist who enjoy sketching on a daily basis.

In the picture are some of my latest toys. John W J. you are so right about treating yourself to art supplies for you special day. My latest is the Noodlers fountain pen. I am also expecting a delivery from Jet Pens. Reading Nikiraart blog I wanted to try the Kuretake pens, can't wait to get them. Happy painting or drawing everyone.

  1. I love your work...fabulous landscapes...thanks for coming by my blog....I am now a follower here too:)

  2. Hi Joan. Lovely pen work. It's nice to try different mediums. The bottle looks so realistic it looks like you have sat the bottle on the pad.

    Great job.

  3. Wow! Dors is so right...the bottle looks like its standing on the pad..! Beautifully done Joan!

  4. I love that bottle ... excellent! Glad to see you doing some pen work and I'm very interested in seeing what you do with the Noodler. It might be something I need to include in my soon-to-be-written letter to Santa. ;-)

  5. Fabulous sketch of that bottle, Joan. I agree with you, especially when it comes to pens .. treat yourself. Have you tried the Lamy Safari or AL-Star pens ? ... they are very popular too. Best wishes, Michael.
