The tops sketch is of the Main St. Italian Bistro in Patchogue.
The second is a composite of some of the places I went to with PALS, our plein air group. The coffee pot was last Sunday morning. I just want to start my day with a little fun sketch. The last is Sayville, behind main st. These are all great fun to do, without the stress of getting into anything to complicated. So hence, sketching it is for awhile. Happy painting everyone, or sketching. Enjoy.
Hi there Joan!... Once again your loosely turned out sketches reflect the total joy and enjoyment that you have brought into your life through your art!
ReplyDeletePainting and sketching really do contribute to a healthy outlook... and your work certainly validates that observation!
Good Painting!... and enjoy those kids Joan!
Warmest regards and Christmas Greetings!
Bruce

Hi Joan.
ReplyDeleteAll lovely sketches my friend. I particularly like the sepia sketch. This is brilliant. But again, I like them all. And again I say, I must have a go. Haven`t painted for awhile now Joan, but will start tomorrow. Joan, have a look at this website. flash-fiction-world.com It is my Sons writing site. I`m very proud of him. Read the bit about him. All the best my friend and again keep those lovely live sketches coming.
Vic.
I love them all - the blue group is my favorite. I'm going to join your revolution to sketch for a while. Hope your season is joyous!
ReplyDeleteLove those sketches and the touches of color, Joan!
ReplyDeleteThese are brilliant sketches Joan and I especially like the first one. As you know, I've been trying to do a lot of sketching to loosen myself up a bit, but I'm not in your league ... these are great. Happy sketching!!!
