Fire Island Lighthouse plein air

Fire Island Lighthouse plein air
Bayard Cutting Arboretum plein air

On Saturday our group ventured out to the Fire Island Lighthouse to paint.  I managed to do two.  One 11x14 and 6x8 acrylic on canvas panel.  It was a beautiful day and the people were so very kind with their  comments.  We were invited to hang our work in the light keepers house, for 2 weeks.

The second painting was done on location another 11x14, Mike and I managed to get out last week, the weather was glorious.  It was my first plein air attempt this year.  Happy Painting everyone.

  3. I love seeing you on location. The lighthouse is a great subject. I like that you incorporated the foreground with the dunes and water! Beautiful.

There are very few that I feel that way about.. ( including myself) but another one is Celeste Bergin (spelling?) Barbra Joan
