Meadow Farm lake 8x10 on board
These are two quickies, like my friend Vic would call them. They are great to do and keeps us painting everyday, without worries of too much thinking.
So I will get on with my day, today it's fruit studies from life. Happy Painting everyone. |
Hi there Joan!... Both are lovely earthy and warm studies! I think that the larger format allows much more space to lay down passages which reflect the use of loose brushwork and planning!
ReplyDeleteCall them what you ... or your ol' pal Vic want to Joan... both are beautiful paintings!
Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

I grew up on an a small island (Isle-of-Sheppey) were there was a lot of marshland, and your paintings took me back there, 55 years ago!
ReplyDeleteThey capture the essence of the marsh - beautiful.
Dear John,
DeleteWhat a wonderful thing to say, I often watch dvd's from your countrymen, such as David Curtis, Brian Ryder and Robert Brindley. I love the England country side as well as the beautiful marshland. Thank you John.
