| 5x7 Acrylic on media board |
Must say today was a great day playing with acrylic paint. Decided to switch from oils to acrylic. Found myself going into a slump. It is amazing how different media takes to canvas, boards, or paper. It's an exciting adventure never knowing where it will lead us, in most cases it's just a fun journey of discovery.
Hope all of you fellow bloggers had a good start to a new week, kinda like Mondays, it's a new slate. Happy Painting everyone..
I so admire artists that keep moving forward like this and then are so good at it..
ReplyDeleteYou seem to do it all so well Joan...
A true artist.. I love all your work and thanks for the comments on my blog. They are always appreciated... BJ
Dear BJ, you truly honor me with your lovely comment and your encouragement. All I can say is that ditto back to you and your wonderful work.
DeleteAll the best to you,
Joan
Dear martinealison,
DeleteThank you and only wish I could understand French. I tried to find a translate gadget, the only one that shows doesn't help translate what you write.
All the best to you,
Joan
Hi Joan.
ReplyDeleteYes my friend, you have done a great job here. Your sky`s are always brilliant, and the foliage sticking up in the foreground is fantastic. If it hadn`t been there, I would have fallen over backwards, spot on with that Joan. All the best Joan.
Vic.
Hello my friend, thank you, I felt the same way about the composition. It really need a stopper, hence the foliage thank you for the visit and the lovely comment. Vic, please don't feel pressured to comment every time you get an email of my postings. I know how busy you are.
