What a gorgeous painting Joan. I love the simplicity of the scene and the figures. Love it!!
Thank you so much John, first and foremost Happy New Year to you and your family. I will pay you a visit shortly, it's been so difficult to keep up with everyone, as you know as well. I appreciate the visit and encouragement. Okay, I'm on my way to visit you. All the best to you, Joan
I never get tired of snow scenes...it amazes me how so many colors goes into "white"...Beautifully painted, Joan!!!!
Dear Hilda, thank you, I so appreciate your continued support and encouragement. I just noticed your latest post. I'm on my way. All the best to you, Joan
For some reason, I haven't visited here in a while...why is that??? Anyway, I'm so glad I stopped by. I miss seeing your paintings. These recent ones are really nice. I saw that your group went out plein air painting last week. I had seen someone post that you were going but I had a meeting and knew I couldn't get over to Short Beach early enough to catch you. Hopefully we can get together sometime soon. Miss ya, Joanie! Say HI to Mike.
Hi Joan, Thank you for the visit, it's great hearing from you. Yes we miss seeing and painting with you also. Sue T. was there at Short beach. It wasn't that cold, but very windy. We had the cars shield us from the extreme wind. Rose Ann and Sue D. were there also. Sorry you couldn't make it, Joan, I will let you know whenever we go out, we still want to be out there painting the snow. We will wait until the frigid weather lets up, don't know why I am not getting your post and fb, I can see what you are doing on your blog and as usual your work is outstanding. I will keep in touch. Mike is fine and we just got a little puppy. He keeps me busy and he enjoys staying by me when I paint. Take care, Joanie
