  2. It is hard for me to pick one I like the best because they are all compelling.,..from the beauty of the red flowers at the top, down to the feeling I could walk along the side of the river in shady comfort. You must have enjoyed one beautiful summer!

    1. Hi Julie, thank you for the lovely comment. Yes, this summer has been delightful, the weather for one, has been unbelievably gorgeous. We do have lovely locations to paint on Long Island, but I am also inspired by your work and enjoy doing still life paintings. Take care and thank you for sharing your beautiful work.

      All the best to you,
      Joan

  3. Four amazing paintings, Joan. LOVE River Walk. Is this by Peconic River? I recently canoed with my family there... 8 exhausting miles of canoeing...!! Never again! You always find such that perfect spot to paint!! My comment for your previous post never posted so I just wanted to tell you that the summer has passed by us so quickly (sigh!!!) and I understand you not telling me about your show. It looks like it was successful and a beautiful day for the exhibit! and lastly you look beautiful as always!!
