A Gray Day

A Gray Day at Blydenburg Park
Well here is another painting of Blydenburg, wanted to capture the atmosphere of the gray day. Unfortunately there was very little sunshine and it was still so beautiful.  Happy Painting everyone.

The Art of Joan Sicignano

My new face book page The Art Of Joan Sicignano

A New Beginng
My thanks to Marc Hanson, because face book was becoming problematic with constant updates and political agendas Marc found a way through his face book page.  It deals only with art and art alone.  So learning so much from artist like Marc and many of you bloggers I also started my artist face book page.

In doing so, there is so much more time to devote to my art and my blogger friends.  Happy Painting

Arboretum Farm

11x14 oil
So okay, not posting on face book is difficult.  On a positive note today I completed a painting that was started last spring.  So on to my second painting.  I will be visiting my dear friends in blog land this evening.  In the meantime I do hope all are healthy and happily painting.

All in a days work

Sweet Briar
Kings Bluff
Old Barn
Hudson River
Staying away from fb, after Marc Hanson announced he was taking a break, I too will try to break away from this addictive behavior.  Today was a day of recycling my art work.  Printing paintings so that they can be presented with just a mat and displayed at future art shows.  Also had  fun cutting old paintings to the size of book marks.

Once all of this is out of the way, it will be time to start new paintings.  Hopefully the weather will permit us to go out and enjoy plein air once again.  Happy Painting everyone.
