Charlie

Charlie 1
5x7 oil on canvas panel

I am on a new kick, doing a series of painting on farm animals and barns.  Hoyt Farm is a farm in Commack. That is where I met Charlie the calf.  Love at first site.  This is new to me, painting farm animals. Loving it and will try to do more barns and farm animals just for a chage.  Happy painting everyone.

    1. Good morning my friend. Hilda, I am trying to step out of my comfort zone. Had a fun doing Charlie. Really would love to do more farm animals. Right now I am stuck on doing a little pony from a photo my daughter in law sent me. Hope all is well with you. See you soon. Hopefully at one of the shows.

  3. Hi my friend.
Lovely painting Joan. Believe it or not but she reminds me of tinkerbell. The Cows nose seems to be pointing Upwards the same as Tinkerbell`s. We have had her all week. Is that Burnt Sienna you have used there? Lovely Colour. All the best Joan.

    1. Good morning my friend. Yes, Charlie is adorable . So you have Tinkerbell once again. What a joy, they are like little children and love the attention you and Rosemary give her. Mike and I took Monet out on Sunday. We walked through a park with steps going up, like climbing a big hill. He was a little trouper. Oh, Vic, the new color I use is Rembrant, transparent red oxide. I will send you an email. Tell you all about. All the best to you. Joan
