Christmas Break

Snow Scene
watercolor

Wanted a break  from oils.  It is a time just to sit back and enjoy the holiday season. In the meantime it is good opportunity to purge my art room of old brushes and dry paint tubes.  I also removed so many of my small studies that will never be shown.  It never ceases to amaze me how much we collect as artist.  I say we because so many of my art friends are in the same position.

It is also a good time to reflect and re-visit our goals and what we would like to do in the new year.  Not the same as a New Year resolution, I have never been good at keeping resolutions.  So what I am saying is , I would like to look into other venues for showing  my work.  There are so many libraries and  I know the art organizations are  a great way of exposure.

The main thing is that I keep painting with the help of God, and to look for ways to develop my craft. We are very lucky as artist, we never get bored.  So as always Happy Painting everyone.
