8x10 oil on panel
I painted this in my garden. I used my Tom Brown pochade.

It was wonderful being outdoors and just enjoying the day.

Happy Mothers Day

A work still in progress, must complete this painting before the baby gets married.

Just wanted to wish all you moms a very HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.

Back Yard Plein Air

Another day playing with my new pochade box. It is pretty windy here on Long Island. I thought it would be a perfect day to test Tom Brown's invention and yep it was GREAT!

Not crazy about my painting, but I gotta say, just loved being outdoors painting. Happy painting everyone.

My new pochade box

No rhyme or reason for this little 5x7 plein air painting. I wanted to try my new Tom Brown pochade box. My husband constructed it as per Toms PDF. It was great fun painting on it, just little tweaking when I set up, but other than that it serves me well. Happy Painting everyone.

Gone Fishing

Couldn't resist posting this one. It's an acrylic on paper. For some reason the photo didn't pick up the lines. Oh well it was just a sketch.

I will be posting earlier paintings for awhile. Thanks to my new found blogger friend Bruce and my blogger friend from England, Vic.

I have begun new paintings that aren't ready for posting. So I will amuse myself by posting these oldies.

This painting is an 8x10 acrylic on canvas. Please try to visit Bruce and Vic's blogs their work is a constant inspiration to me.

Cape Cod

Thank you Bruce, for your great advice to relax. I still haven't been able to paint. Family first, then art.

This painting is from a photo taken while vacationing at the Cape.

I will be visiting your blogs later today. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
