Could not resist, had to paint the snow
Playing After the Blizzard.

I love snow and one of my favorite things to do is to be outdoors and paint.  I was toasty warm wearing my
snow pants and glove warmers.  Actually felt quite warm.  Had to take my right glove off, the heat of the hand warmers a bit much.  We still have snow out there, but the temps are rising and we will be have spring like weather tomorrow. On Long Island we can get various season all in one week.  Happy Painting everyone.

Short Beach
a study in gouache

I did this gouache study on watercolor paper in my journal.  Worked in the studio after
completing the Strada easel 31 day challenge.  Just wanted to have some phone and
just paint from a photo from my ipad.  Happy Painting everyone.

The Egg Cup

The last of 3 egg cups.  Brings back so many memories when my children were young.
The tradition was, on the first day of school they would have a soft boiled egg in the cup and toast cut
into strips that I would call soldiers.  When they returned from their first day , there would be homemade
chocolate chips cookies and a glass of milk.  Where has the time gone.  Oh well, thank God they are grown
with children of their own and I do believe they carry on the same tradition.
Happy painting everyone.
